Menlo Mavens Masters Water Polo

Menlo Mavens is a masters water polo club based in Menlo Park, California.  

We welcome athletes from age 19 to their 70's+, and of ALL skill levels.

Our mission is to promote the sport of water polo by fostering a community focused on fitness, lifelong education, social responsibility, and friendly competition.

Our team practices on Sunday mornings, 8-10 AM at
Menlo Swim and Sport / Burgess Pool
501 Laurel Avenue in Menlo Park.

Drop-ins are welcome for a fee of $20.
All players MUST have a current USA Water Polo membership. A "trial athlete" option is available

COVID NOTICE

We ask that all participants be fully vaccinated to the greatest degree eligible (including boosters) and be willing to present their vaccination card at the first practice attended.  Better still, please email a photo of it to info@menlomavens.orgPlease follow all Menlo Swim and Sport facilities COVID protocols and procedures which include masking while in or passing through the Burgess pool building.
Any member testing positive should immediately notify info@menlomavens.org and plan to quarantine for 10 days.  After 10 days they may return to practice if symptom free and with a negative ANTIGEN test.

FIRE SEASON NOTICE

Unfortunately, in recent years, August and September have brought an increasing number of poor air quality days due to fire season.  Our team is subject to Menlo Swim and Sport  pool facilities closures due to poor air quality or other reasons.  In the event of a pool closure we will attempt to notify the team ourselves but you can get notified directly by signing up for Menlo Swim and Sport facilities closure notifications.
